Prepared for Cytidel

Exposure Strategy

A PR and category strategy for Cytidel.

July 2026

How we see you

A category no one owns,
and six months to claim it.

0%

Coverage from Europe

Over the last twelve months, 52% of your coverage came from Ireland and the UK, none from continental Europe, and not one piece was a feature on the company. The stadium is empty and the raise is in September.

51 days

Ahead of the catalogue

You surface the vulnerabilities under live exploitation on average 51 days before they reach CISA’s KEV list, on models you build and run in-house, with no customer data touching a third-party LLM. A genuine early-warning layer, not another feed.

Unclaimed

Exposure strategy

Tenable, Qualys and Rapid7 list what is vulnerable. Mandiant and Recorded Future still ship PDF reports. No one owns the language for acting on what is actually dangerous, at machine speed. That category is Cytidel’s to define.

European

A European foothold

For six months, Ireland holding the EU presidency opens the European stage: the press, the policy calendar, the platform. We use it as a foothold into the wider European market, positioning Cytidel as a European leader in agentic defence, ahead of the September round.

The Ask

Own the category. Fund the raise.

FIRST: DEFINE

Shape the messaging that earns Cytidel exposure, and plant the category it owns.

Cybersecurity is generic, and generic is invisible. We shape Cytidel’s messaging into a story journalists and investors actually pick up: the two or three themes it can own, so Matt Conlon plus Cytidel means one clear thing. Get the message right and the exposure follows.

THEN: RAISE

Leverage HumanX and Slush to put Cytidel in front of the right investors.

The round opens in September. We use HumanX in Amsterdam and Slush in Helsinki, where the US and European cyber investors gather, to lift Cytidel’s profile in front of the London and New York funds that matter. We build the profile, the raise is yours to run.

The Approach

Four plays. One story, three verticals.

01 · Messaging

Shape the story

Set the category and the messaging framework: the two or three themes Cytidel owns, and the words the whole programme runs on.

02 · Verticals

Three verticals, anonymised

Finance, pharma and defence, each a monthly beat: what Cytidel did for a European central bank, one of the world’s largest pharma companies, a UK defence contractor. Named angles, unnamed clients.

03 · Sector data

Own the whole sector

A recurring index and commentary built from your live threat feed: the overarching data hook that earns tier-one trade coverage and feeds every vertical.

04 · Stages

Where it lands

HumanX, Slush and reactive European commentary, plus closed-door CISO round tables, all timed to the September raise.

Media Training

Ready for the room, before it matters.

Every high-stakes interview of the year runs through Matt Conlon and the team. We get them ready, led by Mary Calpin, so the message lands the same way every time.

Message discipline

The category and the three or four proof points, so every answer returns to the same story.

On the record

Broadcast, podcast and print technique: bridging, soundbites and staying in control of the interview.

The hard questions

Rehearsing the tough ones, the customers you cannot name, the competitors, the ones you would rather not get, so nothing catches you cold.

Investor-ready

The founder narrative tuned for the metrics-driven European investor and the vision-driven US one.

Pricing & KPIs

One programme. Pre-raise, and post-raise.

€6k / month

Pre-raise

Months one to three. Build the company and founder profile ahead of the September round: category, messaging, the first vertical beats and HumanX.

€6k / month

Post-raise

Months four to six. Sustain and scale the profile through the close and beyond: continued verticals, sector data and Slush.
